Part 2 of my trip to US/Mexico. Click here for Part
1 or Part 3 After all the fun of LA theme
parks, beaches and movie studios, we headed South, first to San Diego, then on
through to Mexico... including Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada. We visted San
Deigo Seaworld, which was my favourite of all the theme parks we visited, probably
because I got to see an Orca up close and feed dolphins... |

| While in San Deigo we did the bay cruise, which took
us past the navy base, Coranado Bridge and the bayside of Coranado Island. Afterwards
we stopped for lunch at Coranado Beach. | -

From San Deigo
we crossed the border into Mexico where we stopped briefly at Tijuana. Im glad
we decided to go further South into Mexico as I wasn't very impressed with the
place, probably something about the way they painted stripes on thier donkeys
to make them look like zebras in the hope a tourist would want to get their picture
taken. One of these you could probably write off as a novelty.. but they had them
on every street corner! From Tijuana we traveled about 100 miles south to
the famous La Bufadora Blowhole, which put on a good show, despite only a small
swell. After a quick snack of freshly made Churros we drove to Ensenada, where
we stayed the night. |
The next day we
travelled back towards the US, stopping near Rosarito for breakfast. This area
is where James Cameron recently filmed Titantic. The restaurant we ate at actually
had a Titanic style dining room which contained many props from the film. |
