Monday November 22nd - I took this picture last month during
the last 'dark' full moon of the season, with Daylight Saving
time now operation in Sydney the moon will rise before the
sun has set until April.
This picture was taken at one of the closest beaches to me,
Bronte Beach, which is a little South of Bondi Beach. I was
lucky that there was a bit of cloud about, as the moon by
itself tends to burn out in a night shot.
The picture above was taken shortly after the moon had risen,
on the centre section of Bronte Beach. The exposure needed
was long enough to capture slight movement by the seaguls,
which adds to the overall ghostly feel to the picture.
The shot below was taken to reflect the contrast between
the lamp post and the moon with the darker beachscape in the
background.
